5bf8936414 Fix incorrect comparison, due to single element tuple syntax 
`name in ('date')` is equivalent to `name in 'date'` which looks for `name` in the sequence of characters `('d', 'a', 't', 'e')`

It should be:
  `name in ('date',)`
or:
  `name == 'date'`

For consistency, always use """triple double quotes""" around docstrings.

a81e428071 appveyor: Set Python version to 3.7.0 
Actually only Python 3.7.0 is supported and was used, the variable was misleading and indicated the wrong version.
